Helengeli offers everything a diver can ask for: dive sites visited only by the dive boats from Helengeli and the house reef located near the outside channel with its 6 entry and exit points is a great alternative and addition to the boat dives and excursions.
Mirihi is the ideal retreat for stressed souls where you find quietude in cozy comfort. And furthermore the world famous dive sites of the South Ari Atoll are waiting to be discovered by you in the luxury of small groups on the dive boats and in the dive courses.

Boot in Duesseldorf Europe’s biggest leisure and dive exhibition.
Soon it is that time of the year again and Euope’s biggest leisure and dive exhibition takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany. This year too you will receive the latest news about our 6 dive centres in the Maldives first hand from our well tried team at our stand opposite the dive pool (stand no. 3E28). This year’s focal points are Gasfinolhu, the latest member of our family, and the summer specials in Helengeli and Meeru.
And don’t forget that we raffle off not only valuable material prices but also 10 dives in the Maldives every day! The boot and our stand are definitely worth a visit. We are looking forward to meet you there.
Breaking News! The manta season has finally started
They arrived late but now they are showing up in big numbers. Normally the manta season at the east side of the atolls starts as early as July but this year seemed to be an exception and we have been afraid they do not show up at all. But since two weeks the gentle giants can be seen in great numbers in the channels in particular at the east side of Ari Atoll. The Ocean-Pro dive team in Veligandu organizes now regularly day trips to the North Ari Atoll and could snorkel one hour with 20 to 30 mantas. The teams of Lily Beach and Mirihi were not only lucky enough to snorkel and dive with up to 40 mantas at the time but on four occasions they also found one or even two whale sharks joining the mantas in a feeding frenzy at the surface in the south of the Ari Atoll.
Family News
As it is custom in other families too there are also sometimes changes in the Ocean-Pro family. Patrick the dive centre manager of Lily Beach has decided to realize his dream to work in New Caledonia a little bit earlier as planned. The dive centre is managed temporarily by Juergen Schmiederer, who many of Ocean-Pro repeat guests have already met as baseleader in Velavaru and Mirihi. He is supported by Christine Grund who is responsible for the dive centre in his absence. Of course Atheef with his many years of experience on the dive sites of the South Ari Atoll, will continue to offer you the best dives in regard of the prevailing conditions during your holidays.
There was just recently also a change in the management of the dive centre in Veligandu. Mark and Malika will start working much harder on their dream to have children and therefore went back to "normal life" in Germany.
Giovanni Voglioso, who has returned home to Veligandu with his wife Lieneke after 1 ½ years in Helengeli, has taken over responsibility.
Ocean-Pro takes this opportunity to thank Malika, Mark and Patrick for their longstanding, friendly cooperation and exceptional and valuable work and we wish them all the best and good luck for their future.
