Education
If you want to do something different during your diving holiday, Meeru is the place to go!
Ingrid and her team of 10 – 12 international dive instructors offer not only the whole range of PADI courses from beginner to divemaster level but also some unique specialty courses:
Can you imagine getting really close to aquatic life for example?
Rebreathers allow almost “bubble free and soundless diving”. Therefore, they are very popular with every aspiring Underwater Photographer and normally noisy scuba divers. As a Rebreather Diver you can look forward to approaching the fish astonishingly close. Even shy underwater creatures accept all Rebreather Divers as members of their world. Less air consumption, smaller tanks and still more time underwater are further benefits of Rebreather Diving. Breathing warm most air puts a stop to a dry throat!
You simply start with an “Introductory Rebreather Dives” the only prerequisites you need is a Nitrox Diver certification (40 %) and 14 dives in your logbook.
Once you started, you do not want to stop diving with Rebreather and the “Introductory Rebreather Diver” course can be credited towards the complete course, which takes only 2-3 days and includes four dives in total.
Also very popular is the underwater propulsion specialty course. The "u/w scooters" will pull you effortless wherever you want to go by the push of your thumb, and if needed even against the current.
The three classrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with a state of the art TV-DVD set and all PADI standard education facilities. They provide the perfect learning environment for all courses that are taught in English, German, French and Italian.
At least four times a week introductory dives take place in the protected lagoon guaranteeing that your first steps underwater will be fun and safe.
Before participation in any experience program or dive course, every student must complete a detailed medical questionnaire. Only if any of the questions is answered with "yes" a medical certificate, which allows the participation in dive activities without any restriction, is mandatory. The certificate has to be stamped and signed, but not by the student himself.
